1925 Huntsman’s Thermos Flask - in full working order
100 Years Old & Still Keeps Your Tea Hot!
An incredible piece of British history.
This authentic Thermos (1925) Ltd London flask dates back to the 1920s/30s and comes complete with its original hand-stitched calf leather case.
The official brand title for this item is a “Huntsman’s Thermos Flask and Case” although it’s not designed for use when mounted.
Unlike most of these antique flasks, the internal glass vacuum liner is 100% intact.
We fully thermal-tested it, and it holds heat perfectly with zero leaks for hours. In fact it was still steaming hot after 7 hours.
A beautiful, authentic patina on the leather case, and thick creamy chrome on the flask (unlike any you can find today).
The ultimate accessory for a day foot following, shooting, fishing, point to points, or picnics.
I desperately want to keep this for myself !
Calf leather case - 36cm tall and 11cm diameter at the base
Thermos Flask - 35cm tall and 9.5cm diameter at the base
Damage to lid strap as can be seen in the photos and which has been taken into account for pricing. This is a vanishingly rare item in working condition.
Postage on this item is not the cheapest as it requires a lot of packaging to make sure that it arrives in the same state in which it has survived for the last 100 years although collection in person is possible by prior arrangement.
